José Soares and Filomena have been serving God in the Fundamentalist Baptist Church of Santa Cruz Rio Grande Do Norte, since 1985.

José Soares came to faith through the Ministry of American Missionaries, Benjamin and Paulina Peterson in the city of Currais Novos, in the late seventies. He was challenged to take up the call of ministry in the early years, when he joined the Bereian Seminary in Natal.

Back to the call: In Matthew 9: 35-38, when he says about the great work and few workers. Filomena came to Christ in the early eighties in Macaíba RN, through the ministry of José Soares who led the church as a seminarist. She also joined the seminar preparing to serve.
