Pastor Junior and Cristina, together with their son Davidson Matheus, have been serving Christ at the Baptist Church of Nisia Floresta, since 2002.

Pastor Junior accepted Christ as his Saviour in 1989, at the Regular Baptist Church of Campo Redondo under the ministry of James and Dorrie Guning, and was baptised in the ministry of Pr. João Marinho Campelo in 1990, and in 1991 he was sent to study at the Bereiano Baptist Seminary and Institute in Natal, and he graduated in 1994.

He joined the Missão Evangelica Amazonica (MEA) in 1995 and in the same year he took up the ministry at the Fundamentalist Baptist Church of Tangara. He married Cristina Farias and in 1997, his first son was born, whom he named James Cristian, in honour of his Father in faith, Mr. James Guning. And in 2002 he had his second son, whom he named Davidson Matheus.

In 2002, he was called to work as a missionary at the invitation of Pastor Edmilsom Gomes in the city of Nisia Floresta, where he founded the Boas Novas Baptist Church. in 2008. Pastor Junior continues working in the evangelization work in Nisia and will turn 22 on May 8, 2024.
